The Cape TV Show - Bob s Burgers


NBC is trying its hand at a new super hero TV show called 'The Cape', which premiers tonight on NBC. Ratings for shows such as this are typically high, The show is about a quirky family that runs a hamburger joint. On NBC, the much-anticipated The Cape has a two-hour premiere starting at 9pm Apparently, NBC thinks we do. “ The Cape” tv show debuts tonight at 9/8c on NBC.

A former police officer teams up with misfits to fight crime after he is set up for a crime he did not commit. He becomes “The Cape,” who is the superhero of his son’s favorite comic book. The Cape is played by David Lyons. Tonight’s episode is two hours, but starting next week, it will be a one hour series, airing at 9pm. The entire series has 13 episodes. I like knowing that a series has a definitive ending like that: it seems to keep the storyline more focused. Are you watching

'Bob's Burgers' Sees the Restaurant Accused of Serving Human Meat


FOX took another stab at a new animated series for their Sunday "Animation Domination" block. 'Bob's Burgers' (Sun., 8:30PM on FOX) is from the same creative team that brought us the uniquely bizarre 'Dr. Katz.'
'Bob' is much more traditional than 'Katz' was, but it still has that subversive edge to it.
This premiere saw the restaurant under siege from the Health Department after daughter Louise spread a rumor that the meat was made from human flesh. The fact that the restaurant is set next to a mortuary made things even worse. The fact that the health inspector used to date Bob's wife, Linda, turned it into a nightmare.
And yet, after fighting all episode against the stigma of serving human meat, it turned out to give them one of their best days ever.
A bus pulled up moments before they got the all-clear on their meat being 100% beef. "We have kind of an adventurous eaters club," an old lady on the bus said. "We like to try new things."
