She’s One Hot Mama: Anna Benson’s Zaniest Moments

Earlier this week, right-handed pitcher Kris Benson announced his retirement from baseball. Benson, who was drafted No. 1 overall by the Pirates in 1996, made just three starts for the Diamondbacks last season, but we can't let the news pass by without acknowledging his wife. Anna Benson was one of the few WAGs here in the United States who was good for causing a stir every now and again. She upset the Mets organization for wearing a skimpy outfit to a Christmas party, told Howard Stern she'd sleep with every player on Kris's team if she caught him cheating and then some. So, today, we say goodbye to a WAG who provided us with some great material through the years. Thanks, Anna.

It appears getting pinched for cocaine possession last August was the best thing that ever happened to the couple-turned-co-defendants. And boy did Girlie pick a winner: Cy lost his job as Head of Entertainment at the Wyndham Resorts in Las Vegas after he and Paris was arrested on drug charges during a traffic stop in Sin City over the summer. Waits was even slapped with a charge of DUI after he was deemed to be operating his Cadillac Escalade under the influence of marijuana.
News of Paris’ pending proposal comes just a few weeks before her childhood pal and former drinking buddy, reformed wildchild Nicole Richie
, is set to wed boyfriend of four years Joel Madden at her father’s Los Angeles estate next month.
