Ah, it pays to be a top Hollywood star. Take Julia Roberts, for example. U.K. tabloid the Daily Mail reports the Oscar winner was recently paid $1.2 million euro ($1.6 million CDN) to star in a 45-second TV commercial for Italian coffee company Lavazza.Dressed as the goddess Venus, Roberts smiles, sighs, winks, sips coffee, and flashes her famous grin but doesn’t utter a single word.The commercial begins airing this month in Europe.Roberts is following in the footsteps of dozens of Hollywood’s elite by starring in foreign advertisements. Everyone from George Clooney to Nicolas Cage have lent their famous faces to make a few, or a lot of, bucks.
