Rick Bentley is a regular guy who, as The Fresno Bee's entertainment reporter, rubs elbows with today's hottest stars. Here's a peek inside Rick's Hollywood notebook:
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and I end up waiting for our cars together outside the Four Seasons Hotel after doing an interview for his new feature film "Faster."
We kill time with small talk. I thank him for the interview.
"No problem," says Johnson, who may very well be the second-nicest guy in Hollywood, behind Tom Hanks. "I really thought the interviews went well."
That's when I notice two guys dressed in black: Johnson's bodyguards.
It seems odd Johnson - a man so big he shows up on most topographical maps - needs bodyguards.
To make matters more confusing, if you combined the two bodyguards, they wouldn't be as big as one of Johnson's arms.
