Band Members in Hollywood Freeway Jam Charged

LOS ANGELES ( KTLA) -- Three members of a rock band who blocked traffic for nearly two hours on the 101 Freeway in Hollywood in October have been charged with conspiracy to commit a public nuisance.

The felony charge and several misdemeanor counts were filed Tuesday against members of the Orange County band Imperial Stars, according to Los Angeles County prosecutors. They band members could face up to three years in prison if convicted.

Prosecutors say Keith Richard Yackey, 31, of Las Vegas, Christopher Roy Wright, 32, of Garden Grove, and David Paul Hale, 30, of Stanton climbed atop a truck that stopped on U.S. 101 near Sunset Boulevard on Oct. 12.
