George Lopez On Kirstie Alley On 'DWTS': Compares Actress To Pig

George Lopez may or may not be a fan of Kirstie Alley's dancing, but he's made clear his feelings on her body.
On "Lopez Tonight" Tuesday night, Lopez reviewed the first episode of the new season of "Dancing with the Stars." Alley, who has famously struggled with her weight, danced a roundly praised cha-cha performance to Cee Lo Green's "Forget You." Without commenting on her technique, Lopez criticized her physique.

"She did a nice job, her little hooves tapping away," Lopez said, comparing Alley to a pig. "Before the show she went to the market, then she had roast beef, and this is her going all the way home," he continued before cutting to a video of a pig squealing, from a recent Geico commercial.

Kirstie Alley's 'Dancing With The Stars' Cee-Lo Green Debut (VIDEO)

Kirstie Alley has been hyping her 'Dancing With the Stars' debut on Twitter, and Monday night she came through, earning the second-highest score in the season premiere (behind actor Ralph Macchio). Kirstie, 60, and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy performed a saucy cha-cha to Cee-Lo Green's "Forget You."
"My goal for this cha-cha is to stay upright and on my feet through the entire dance," she told the camera beforehand.
Kirstie managed to do these things and earn raves from the judges.
"It made me feel good," Len Goodman said.
Kirstie is already hard at work practicing next week's routine.

'Dancing With the Stars' winner Jennifer Grey: 'My doctors kept putting me together'

For "Dancing With the Stars" Season 11 champ Jennifer Grey, the show was an uphill battle until the last 10 minutes of the 2-hour finale.

Just 24-hours earlier, she ruptured a disc during a performance.

Zap2it was in the ballroom when Grey and partner Derek Hough spoke with the press after their win, and both seem plenty relieved that the 50-year-old could finally take it easy.

"I think it might have been one of those flips or kicks or splits," Grey says, with a blue icepack slid behind her tasseled pants. "When you dance with a 25-year-old, it's a risk you take."

But now that show is over, so is any anxiety over the toll on her body. Thanking Derek, her family and the fans, Grey is quick to point out the small group who really kept her in the game. "My doctors kept putting me together," she says.

Looking back on the experience, Grey says that, win or lose, she got what she wanted from the series. "The destination for me was the journey," she says, "and in the truest since of the word, this journey was the gift... It's so much fun, glamour and sillyniess. It's a great gift to be part of a show that gives people so much joy."

The 'Dancing With The Stars' Situation: Jennifer Grey Brings Home The Trophy

After weeks of twists, turns, conspiracies, upsets and surprises, the winner of "Dancing With the Stars" ended up being the one contestant everybody assumed would win way back in the first week of the show. Former "Dirty Dancing" star Jennifer Grey outlasted Disney actor Kyle Massey and teen mom Bristol Palin  to take home the championship trophy on Tuesday night's (November 23) grand finale. It was a roller coaster of a season for Grey, who started out as the presumptive favorite, knocked a number of dances out of the park, slipped a bit when fatigue and expectations caught up with her but rallied in the last three weeks to dominateThere was a lot of speculation surrounding the rise of Palin and whether or not she would be able to summon enough votes to knock Grey and Massey down for the victory despite her significantly lower scores from Monday night (November 22). But the final voting tally shook out the same way as the scoring, as Massey finished in second place and Palin in third. Though it was inconvenient for the likes of Brandy, Kurt Warner and Rick Fox, the rise of Palin probably helped Grey in the end, as the challengers to Grey's place atop the pile kept getting knocked out of the competition just as they were gathering momentum. That left Grey to simply execute stellar dances and walk away the victor.

Though "Dancing With the Stars" has been active for 11 seasons now, it shows no signs of slowing, and this season was filled with enough great choreography, distinct personalities and dramatic narratives to justify many, many more competitions. What celebrities will be the next to step up and join the ranks of the great batch of famous folks from this go-round? We'll find out in the spring of 2011.
