The new show “revolves around dueling corporate management consulting firms,” and is described as a “dark comedy.” But would you expect anything else from Showtime? It sounds interesting and with the planned cast, this pilot sounds like one you won’t want to miss.Who will Bell play?
Bell’s character is Jeannie, and she is described as “a razor-sharp Brown grad who reluctantly finds herself attracted to her co-worker Marty (Cheadle).” Of course there needs to be some romance, and this sounds like it’s going to result in a love-hate match-up. This is just what a comedy series needs, and that’s bound to bring in a few laughs.
Besides her voice on Gossip Girl, Kristen Bell hasn’t had a role on television in a couple of years. She guest starred on Party Down for two episodes in 2009 and 2010, but before that, her last television role was on Heroes in 2008. Though she has done well in a few movies (and has a few planned for the next couple of years), it will be nice to see her back on TV.
