Schools Cancel Activities Ahead Of Snow


PHILADELPHIA - The winter storm that's blanketed parts of the South with snow is heading our way.
The National Weather Service says 5 to 8 inches of snow could fall in Philadelphia starting Tuesday afternoon and into Wednesday.
A winter storm warning kicks in for Philadelphia and it suburbs around 2 p.m. and lasts through the night.
In anticipation of the snowfall, Philadelphia's school system canceled after-school activities. A few other educational institutions have opted to cancel evening classes.
