Google logo: From St Basil’s Cathedral to “Up on the housetop

The more the merrier, andMerry Christmas” is just around the corner, so Google’s new doodle features 17 images inspired by different countries around the globe.
According to Wall Street Journal, the new Google Doodle took five artists about 250 hours to design that is scheduled to stay on the homepage of the popular search engine until Christmas.
Compared to other “controversial” Doodles like the “Buckyball” and the “bouncing balls” that were dubbed by some Windows users as “CPU eaters,” the 17 images of the new Google Doodle are in jpeg format, grouped into six parts.
