In Tuesday's (Nov. 23) episode "Furt," we get two weddings, two vows and a very disappointed glee club. Let's break it down by plot, shall we?
We're not crazy about the Sue (Jane Lynch) "marrying herself" story. It's pretty hokey. But there's still some great stuff the resulted from it, and first and foremost it's bringing Carol Burnett. to town as Sue's notorious Nazi-hunting mom Doris. Their duet of "Ohio" -- with the banter in the middle -- is just a joy to watch, and we realize exactly why Sue is as acerbic as she is. (Vote in Zap2it's poll for the best song from "Furt.")
Other bonuses: Sue's tracksuit wedding dress is horror-dorable, and as usual Sue has such a way with words when she describes on her dating profile what she's passionate about: "Extreme taxidermy, tantric yelling, poking the elderly with hidden pins."
